Cruz indicates at this stage that the knee he injured this past December is 100 percent, reports.

Analysis: With Hakeem Nicks no longer in the team's wideout mix, the Giants will be counting on a healthy Cruz returning to top form in 2014, after a 2013 campaign in which he recorded 73 catches for 998 yards in 14 contests, while seeing his TD output decrease from the 10 that he recorded in 2012 to just four.

The Giants plan to make Jennings their starter at running back this coming season, reports.

Analysis: At this stage, fellow RB David Wilson indicates that he is pain-free, but has yet to receive clearance to play. Assuming Wilson is able to re-enter the mix at some point, we'd expect the Giants to ease him back in, a scenario in which Jennings would head the team's rushing attack (which also includes Peyton Hillis) out of the gate.

Broyles (Achilles) participated in drills at Wednesday's voluntary minicamp, the Detroit News reports.

Analysis: Broyles, who has already been forced to rebound from torn ACL's in both of his knees, tore the Achilles tendon in his left leg last October, with his participation Wednesday thus an encouraging development. The Lions added Golden Tate this offseason to complement Calvin Johnson, but if Broyles can get and, more importantly, stay healthy, he could possibly emerge on the fantasy radar in 2014.

Trufant signed with the Jaguars last May but was released prior to the regular season. He'll retire with the fifth-most interceptions (21) and tenth-most tackles (638) in Seahawks history.
